Overview
DrinkCostDee is a mobile app that helps small beverage shops calculate menu costs, profit per cup, margin, suggested selling price, and delivery profit after platform fees.
The first version of DrinkCostDee is designed to be offline-first. The app does not require users to create an account or log in.
Information Stored On Your Device
DrinkCostDee stores the following information locally on your device so the app can calculate costs and show your saved menus:
- Ingredient names and categories
- Ingredient purchase prices and quantities
- Drink menu names, categories, cup sizes, and recipes
- Selling prices, target margins, and delivery fee settings
- JSON backup/export data that you create manually
- Free or Basic plan state used by the app during testing
Information We Do Not Collect In The MVP
- We do not require user accounts or login.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or precise location in the MVP.
- We do not automatically upload your ingredient prices or menu recipes to a central server.
- We do not sell personal data.
Backups And Import/Export
The app includes JSON export/import tools so users can manually back up their own data. If you copy, share, or store an exported JSON backup outside the app, you are responsible for where that file is saved or shared.
Future Anonymous Price Sharing
DrinkCostDee may add anonymous ingredient price benchmarking in the future. This feature is not active in the first MVP.
If this feature is added, it will require a clear opt-in from the user before any price data is shared. It will only be considered after there are enough real users to make reference pricing credible.
Children
DrinkCostDee is intended for business owners and operators of beverage shops. It is not directed to children under 13 years old.
Third-Party Services
The first MVP does not require a backend account system. Future versions may use Google Play Billing, Apple StoreKit, cloud backup, analytics, or error reporting. If these are added, this policy will be updated.
Data Deletion
Because MVP data is stored locally on your device, you can delete app data by clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app. Exported JSON backups that you saved outside the app must be deleted by you from wherever you stored them.
