Photo access
Open iOS Settings → Apps → ScreenTidy → Photos to change Full, Limited, or denied access. ScreenTidy keeps existing local state when access is unavailable.
Backup and restore
Use Settings → Backup & Restore before deleting the app. The portable backup includes ScreenTidy’s local index, OCR text, categories, review states, and preferences. Original screenshots remain in Apple Photos and are not copied into the backup.
Lifetime purchase
Restore Purchase checks the current Apple Account for a verified Lifetime entitlement. It does not restore local ScreenTidy records. Purchase restoration and data restoration are separate.
Deletion safety
ScreenTidy never deletes screenshots automatically. After you select items, iOS presents its own Photos confirmation. Deleted items may remain in Recently Deleted before permanent removal.
Before reporting a problem
- Record the installed version and build from Settings.
- Describe whether Photos access is Full or Limited.
- Never send private screenshots, OCR text, purchase credentials, backup files, or Apple Account details unless you intentionally choose to and understand the contents.
