What ScreenTidy accesses
ScreenTidy reads only screenshots made available through Apple Photos permission. If you choose Limited Photos Access, only the selected screenshots are available to the app.
On-device processing
Screenshot indexing, text recognition, categories, detected values, search, and review states are designed to run and remain on the device. The MVP does not require a ScreenTidy account and does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Local data
ScreenTidy stores a local index, OCR text, categories, detected values, review state, and preferences in its app container. Original screenshots stay in Apple Photos. Deleting the app removes its local data unless you exported a backup first.
Backup and purchase restoration
A portable backup contains ScreenTidy’s local records and preferences; it does not contain the original Apple Photos images. Lifetime purchase restoration uses Apple’s App Store transaction system and is separate from local-data restore.
Deletion
ScreenTidy does not delete screenshots automatically. The user chooses items, and iOS displays its standard confirmation. Deleted items may remain in Recently Deleted.
Changes
If the app later adds a network service, analytics, advertising, accounts, or another SDK, this notice and the App Store privacy disclosure must be reviewed and updated before release.
