Overview
BeautyCostDee is a mobile app for beauty and nail salon operators to calculate material costs, labor, overhead, profit, and suggested selling prices. The app is designed to be offline-first and does not require you to create an account or log in.
Information stored on your device
To calculate costs and show saved services, the app stores the following primarily on your device:
- Material names, categories, purchase prices, quantities, and units
- Service names, duration, selling prices, and material usage
- Labor rate, overhead per service, target margin, shop preferences, and language settings
- Onboarding state, entitlement status, and JSON backups you explicitly create
Information we do not collect
- We do not require an account, login, name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
- We do not send your salon materials, services, prices, calculations, or exported backups to a developer-operated server.
- We do not use analytics or advertising services in the mobile app.
- We do not sell personal data.
Backup and transfer
You can manually export and import a JSON backup in the app. If you copy, share, or store a backup outside the app, you control where it is saved or shared. Your device platform may also include eligible app data in an operating-system-managed cloud backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on your device and account settings.
In-app purchases
BeautyCostDee offers a one-time Pro upgrade through Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit. The store platform handles payment information. To prevent fraudulent entitlement grants, the app may send a Store-issued product identifier and purchase-verification payload to a developer-operated verification service. This service validates the Store purchase and does not receive your salon business data, calculations, or backups.
Data deletion
Because core app data is stored on your device, you can delete it by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Manage exported files and any platform-managed backups from the device, storage provider, or account where they are stored.
