Overview

BeautyCostDee helps beauty and nail salon operators calculate material costs, labor, overhead, profit margin, and recommended selling prices. The app is offline-first and does not require an account or login.

Information stored on your device

BeautyCostDee stores the following information locally so it can perform calculations and show your saved work:

• Material names, categories, purchase prices, quantities, and notes
• Service names, duration, selling prices, and material usage
• Labor rate, overhead, target margin, shop name, language, and currency preferences
• Onboarding state and Pro entitlement status
• JSON backup data that you create manually

Information we do not collect

• We do not require a user account or login.
• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or precise location.
• We do not send your material prices, service data, or calculations to a developer-operated server.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising in the mobile app.
• We do not sell personal data.

Backups and import/export

The app includes JSON export/import tools so you can manually back up your data. You control where an exported backup is copied, shared, or stored.

Your operating system may also include BeautyCostDee data in a platform-managed cloud backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on your Google or Apple account and backup settings. These backups are operated by the platform provider, not BeautyCostDee, and can be controlled in your device or account settings.

In-app purchases

BeautyCostDee offers a one-time Pro upgrade (beautycostdee_pro_lifetime) through Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit. The store platform processes the transaction. We do not process or store payment-card information.

To prevent fraudulent entitlement grants, the app may send the Store-issued product identifier and purchase-verification payload to a developer-operated verification service. The service uses that payload only to validate the purchase with Google Play or Apple and does not receive your salon materials, services, prices, calculations, or exported backups.

Children

BeautyCostDee is intended for business owners and operators. It is not directed to children under 13.

Third-party services

Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit may process purchases, and the device platform may provide operating-system backup or transfer. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies. No analytics, advertising, or developer-operated cloud storage for salon business data is used in the current version.

Data deletion

You can delete locally stored app data by clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app. Exported JSON backups and platform-managed backups must be deleted where they are stored or through your Google or Apple account settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The revised date will be shown at the top of this page.
